JT and I got a chance to go to our first concert in the great state of Colorado Tuesday night. Sheryl Crow and John Mayer played under the stars and clear skies at the Red Rock Canyon just outside of Denver. The canyon was beautiful, with red rock and boulders towering up around us. The amphitheatre literally sits right in the middle of the Utah-like rock formations, and seats several thousand music fans. Sheryl's music was average, but John Mayer was the star of the show. It was a nice night to get out of the mountains and get down a little closer to the city. Jt's family is coming in tomorrow and so is about 15 inches of snow! Welcome to fall. Hopefully, it will be beautiful and not so thick and heavy that we won't get to get out and do much.
