We finally got our Christmas tree! Tonight JT and I went out Christmas tree hunting in Pike National Forest about 5 miles from our house. With the temperature staying at a solid -4 degrees outside, I stayed surprisingly warm as we hiked through two feet of snow. It was so fun to make our way through the snow, looking for the perfect tree. For a mere $10 permit, we were able to cut down any tree that fit our own personal height and size. People up here usually don't go out in the dark to do this, but we ended up running behind this afternoon. Thankfully we had a full moon to help us out. It was a magical experience, and I couldn't believe how big our tree ended up being! It fit nicely on my jeep...a true Grizwald experience!
