Twin Lakes and Independence Pass

This last Saturday Jt and I loaded up the dogs and headed toward Aspen for a day of fall driving. We decided to do a loop that takes us up over Independence Pass (Highest pass in North America) and stop in Aspen for lunch. On our way is the beautiful Twin Lakes Area right before the pass. We stopped and took some pics and then got out and hiked. The colors were breathtaking!
